The Kidd Group was established in 1987 as Galbraith Construction, Inc. Richard Galbraith started this company to provide unparalleled customer service and expertise in the construction industry. At a time when poor communication, missed budgets and deadlines were the norm, we set out to change the perception of the construction industry.
After 26 years, Richard sold his company to long-time friend and former neighbor, David Kidd. The company already had a strong reputation for doing great work, especially within the healthcare space. The team members at Galbraith Construction were a perfect fit for David’s relationship-based way of doing business. His affinity for building long-lasting relationships played a large role in the projects that Galbraith Construction was awarded.
Guided by his faith and his unwavering belief that business is best when it is grounded in trust, David has earned a reputation for completing projects on time and on budget. Beyond that, and perhaps even more rare in the world of general contractors, David and his company are consistently on excellent terms with their clients once projects have ended. This has led to a business fueled by referrals and a one-of-a-kind trust between David, his team, and all of their clients.
In 2019, David’s daughter, Jennifer, joined the company as CEO and co-owner. Together, they changed the name to The Kidd Group and have expanded their service offerings. David and Jen view each interaction and decision through the lens of the moral principles set in their beliefs. This desire to value relationships and treat others well, is a guiding principle that informs their business practices. The Kidd Group knows that it is paramount to treat their clients as they would want their clients to treat them.
